In 2010, the French naval aviation celebrated its 100th anniversary during a great airshow taking part on Hyères naval air station.
For the event, many aircrafts of navy received special schemes, such as the Super-Etendard n°23 based on Landivisiau and fully aluminum painted with the wings of the naval aviation on the air intakes, adorned of a navy roundels on both side of the tail, the silhouette of the aircraft carrier Béarn (1928) on starboard side, and the silhouette of the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle (2001) on port side.
After its retirement, this aircraft is finally be kept on display at the Landivisiau NAS. |
